Owl You Need Is Love

After only 4 months of activity, I’m so thankful to announce that my business, Owl You Need Is Love, has officially hit over 100 Etsy sales! This is a big milestone to me and such a great achievement!

Owl You Need Is Love is my store of posters and prints. A graphic designer from Austin, my designs definitely have a lot of personality in them, whether I express that with color, animals, humor or fonts. People love to display conversational pieces in their home and that’s something I like to cater to.

I created Owl You Need Is Love only 4 months ago and it was originally formed after some persistence from my roommate to design some posters for our apartment. It was not a surprise, because of my obsession with owls, that the first poster I designed was my “Owl You Need Is Love” print. That one print turned into several prints, which evolved into creating my own store. It has really grown more than I could’ve imagined. The support from everyone has been incredible.

Along with my Etsy store, I like to participate as a vendor at local festivals and craft fairs. Here’s some pictures of one of my most recent craft booths:

My craft booth at the Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival.

Everyone went crazy over Owls at this event. Every Owl print I brought sold out halfway through.

While I normally design posters and prints, I decided to branch out and start some greeting card designs. I displayed them in some painted shutters and found they were a huge hit!

This old screen was a wonderful way to display some of my prints on there. It created a nice, vintage feel to the booth.

Living in Austin, it’s no surprise that my biggest seller at craft fairs is my “Austin Bucket List: The 50 Things You Must Experience In Austin.”

Another garage sale find, the fishing net in the background was a great way to display more of my prints. I just secured them with clothespins and it was an awesome display!
